2017 Fall Garage Sales

Pool Party is July 29th
The Highland's Neighborhood Association Pool Party will be on Saturday, July 29 from 6 to 8 pm. Swimming at the Pool Party is free for HNA members. The cost for non-members is $1 to swim. There is a cannonball contest for ages 12 and up and water balloon contest for kids of all ages. There will be a door prize drawing for HNA members. The Association provides free hot dogs and chips and Coke provides free drinks. All residents and families of Highland's residents are welcome. |
Recycling Letter From Mayor Beutler
Gene Hanlon, the City's Recycling Coordinator, would like to encourage people within the community to read an article written by Mayor Beutler, that outlines the importance of recycling. We Are Looking for a new HNA Webmaster
The Highlands Neighborhood Association is looking for a new webmaster with the retirement of our existing webmaster Dan Staehr. If you have web and social media skills you might fit the job. You can help your Neighborhood Association by donating your talents to updating our HNA website from time to time by posting upcoming events and information for the neighborhood, You would also administer the HNA Facebook page! WE WANT YOU! Dan is willing to help make the transition as smooth as possible and willing to help to get you going on track. We have our activities that would need posting and sometimes public information that is of direct interest and impact to the Highlands neighborhood! . May 18, 19 and 20 Add YOUR Garage Sale Listing to the Neighborhood Garage Sale Map! Sales Submission Form HERE! PLUS ---- Donate your leftovers to our Goodwill DROP OFF SITE on Friday May 19 from from4 to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m. Save time and gas by delivering your donations at the collection site which will be set up in the parking lot of SNAP FITNESS. (note this is a new location!!) There will be an HNA Board member on-site and will provide a donation slip if you wish. If you are not having a garage sale, your donations are still welcome!! No TV's please! |
